Reading rock festival goes back long long ago and was the thhe festival to play in the seventies priest played there in 1974 doing a song called motheres sun which I used to have bootleg tape of the gig it was held over three days and had awesome line ups for years nothing could touch it then as music progressed it kind of lost the appeal and knebworth appeared for the likes of Led zeppelin reunions etc etc so while it's on to there's more varity of bands then there was then so it's lost a lot of it's awesomeness........  .short history lession of the reading rock festival(as it was called)  then came donnington monsters of rock etc which Priest also played.....and went on for many years ......tocater for the rock fans... ;D |

Band these days don't have the balls to come down to Australia  , When Maiden came down for Number of the Beast tour they had something like 5-6 shows sold out ion Sydney and did heaps of shows throughout the country even Wagga Wagga lol that still cracks me up what a bumb town that is. |

Wagga Wagga sounds quite outbackish? I don't understand why these bands don't play Aussie or my fricken Province either...Really pisses me off actually  They figure we're all loaded rich to travel far to see their shows well guess what WANKERS  you would sell out in ALL Provinces if you would just fricken play them here  Also, Australia...That must really piss you off that you're of the age now to go moshing but no one's fricken playing their |

That why when I go to England I shall see heaps of bands there hopefully, me and my mates are planning to go to the Ashes after this year when were finished school . Yeah it bloody sucks either miss em by a year or 2 or they just never come , Melbourne is the best place to hold concerts and shit because everybody is always looking for a goodtime ;D, if they play the people will come. |

I've seen alot of shows on TV over the years showing the party spots in Melbourne, etc & yeah I figure it's time for Known Bands to get their rumps over their  As for the Canadian Prairies, it's supposedly so boring for these huge rockstars that they skip over our Province. Jeeeesh we're the ppl buying their albums, etc & at least they could come & put on a rockin' show for one night even & NOT think about themselves in partying...They honestly don't know what they're missing by partying with Saskatchewanian's cos' we like to party our arses off here...Always looking for a goodtime...I give alot of respect to bands that have come here & respect us with the shows .... Sorry to say Corkman but Metallica never misses my Province!!!! Although, I have more than once already ACDC, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Godsmack (btw, singer wrote a nasty journal entro about our Province ), uhmm tons of other great bands BUT NOT ... RUSH, Motley Crue or Rammstein  I was also too young to catch them when they were big rockbands in the 80's but I'm able to see them now & either can't afford to travel 8hrs & get a hotel, money for travel, etc etc As for Rush they are truely ignorant...Neil Peart travelled through my Province & wrote all about it in his book ' Ghost Rider ' but they just won't play here Errrrrr |

The least the could do is play a bloody gig in the citys of each state and some around suberbs but they are just to up themselves and think, nah were to good to play there.
