god you could write a bible full of good lyrics...........I love the simple lyrics of some songs and then I love the lyrics like RUSH who pick a topic and put words around something or someone ultimate gift of writing.......... Halford/Phil Mogg(ufo) Dio(rainbow & sabbath) awesome rock lyrics then you can go to the Beatles for simply awesome songs then you look at I am the walrus...awesome stuff...... George Michael again awesome talent ......the list is endless............... Lyrics have huge influence on me in liking a song it's part of the whole package as well as the playing the hook sound etc etc you can have a great tune but if your lyrics suck your dead........ |
