PART ONE : Damn, Till didn't take off his shirt But it was a hell of a concert Woohoo finally I saw my favourite band live! First of all ; IMHO supportband Exillia sucked They reminded me a bit of Guano Apes. All their songs sounded the same. And then the guys I really came for. It started very funny with six of their roadies (a bit look-a-likes) came on stage dressed like the guys on the Reise Reise-pics with the silly shirts, ties and the suitcases. This on the sound of Reise Reise. Then the stage was revealed. It looked great, a bit like a futuristic fortress (a guy on the radio described it like the fortress of Waterworld). On top of it was Schneider! In the middle there was a huge round door that could open and close in two parts. Then the set : they played a lot of their new songs (9 out of 11!). In my personal taste a bit too much. And you could feel that the crowd really exploded at the older songs. I wrote down the setlist when I got home (random order). They started with Reise Reise, an obvious choice ofcourse. In the first part of the show most songs were of the new album. The live-version of Dalai Lama disappointed me a bit. I really like that song on the album, but live it didn't cause that feeling of 'bad things are going to happen' if you know what I mean.

PART TWO : OK, I'll post this in parts! 'Ohne dich' was great You know, all waving hands and people with cigarette-lighters, everybody sang along. Really touching, even Till seemed to be a bit emotional. A few times he stopped singing and the crowd filled in The older songs came mostly from Mutter. I'm very disappointed that neiter Weisses Fleisch, Wollt ihr nor Heirate mich wasn't on their setlist. I hope this doesn't mean they are taking distance from their more agressive songs But they do played great songs like 'Links' (people got wild ), Feuer frei (even wilder ;D). Other classics like 'Ich will', 'Rammstein', 'Sonne' really did their magic. I was pleasantly surprised by the live-version of Rein raus. Everybody screamed like madmen Other highlights : 'Sehnsucht', 'Du hast', 'Du riechst so gut' and they played 'Stripped' (which was great Overall the pyrotechnics were awesome Flamethrowers all over the place, fantastic. You could feel the heat ;D They used pyrotechnics in most of their songs. And the light-effects were fantastic : bright white, deep red, cold blue, extra-terrestrial green The guys were dressed in black outfits which were HOT . Very masculin indeed Unfortunately we were a bit too far from the stage to see the guys in detail I really liked the crowd, everyone was very relaxed while entering and leaving the hall and very enthusiastic during the gig. Really all kind of people : from kids to 50-year olds (and older). Punks, Hells' angels, guys who looked like computernerds, dreadlocks, Rammstein really unites all sorts of persons It was a fantastic show and I wouldn't have missed for the world Just can't wait till they will be back in Belgium again. Rammstein rules forever

I am boycotting the Big Day Out is just a place for all the posers to gather and act like they know what the hell is going on. The commercial status of it is just shameful as well, im just gonna go to their individual shows .
