« Reply #20 on: May 6th, 2003, 1:20pm By: MYSTical »Tres cool, we like a lot of the same shite. I used to do landscaping in Hawaii... now I'm trying to clean up around my new house. I guess a previous owner (not the one I bought from) had a really nice pro job installed less than 2 yrs ago but it hasn't been maintained especially well. It's gonna look so damn good when I'm done with it tho, the neighbors will love me I haven't been riding in years but there's a place here I'm going to check out (I just moved BTW). Well My Family and I go riding every year at least every weekend. Our daughter loves to ride, every year she asks the same question to her dad ?Can I get a horse this year PLEASE DADDY PLEASE ? and her Dad asks were you going to keep it? She said, ?We can sell our house and buy a farm.? But I seem to be rambling on and on.
What all do you plan to do to your house? Maybe you can give me some advice on the kind of plants I should use in my yard? I have found that every time I do some thing to the house my neighbours start to do maintains to their yards it is so funny it is like every body here is trying to keep up with the Jones?s. ;D lol And all I really want to do is have a yard I can enjoy and feel relaxed in you know what I mean. I just want a piece of paradises in my back yard after all that is where I spend most of my time in the summer.

That's cool, isn't that what boards like this are for?I'm just going to start by weeding and cutting back all the bushes that have gotten overgrown. It's a really well-done, low-maintenance professional installation that just hasn't been trimmed and weeded enough. I'm almost afraid to screw it up. But the one thing I know is that it needs more color. I have some shasta daisies and poppies that will have to find a place out there, and some big red fountain grass. I don't know how to really advise other people... I say keep it simple, keep it low-maintenance, and stick to things that you really like. My philosophy is to put more work into the setup (ground cover etc) and not plant anything that grows too fast, all in the interest of having a good-looking yard that I don't have to spend all weekend maintaining. I like a lot of perennial flowers layered in beds so they cycle through seasons. The rest of the stuff I'm into is tropical tho... since I'm from Hawaii and living in MS... so I can't say much about the plants you'd have up there. Ivy is cool.

I am going to try to keep it simple. The first thing I want to do is plant rose bushes and for the side of the house I was thinking about raspberry bushes, I have not decided on what I should do to the back yard yet, but once I do I will let you know. lol Once Again Thank you

Sorry to hear you don't get it from gf/bf! Hey, first of all, masturbation is definitely a hobby. Second, even if you have someone to have your fun with , sometimes it's just a considerate thing to do, when you want to let them sleep, or they're not in the mood, or whatever. As long as you don't wear it out... but actually, I seem to do better with her when I take care of myself on the off days ;D
Oh shit, am I off topic again?

"Is that a blunt in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
Interesting phrases you used, given the context... "stand at attention," "salute," and my favorite: "he has a very good damn point." Well only Mary can tell you if my "point" is damn good ;D ;D
*dies laughing on the floor*

First of all : my parakeet Mac! (the most adorable bird you can think of) . I got a lot of 'lazy' hobbies, like reading (esp. detective, thrillers, travelbooks, non-fiction-books about a lot of subjects but esp.crime, serial-killers, war, etc. and I love cooking- and interiordesign-books). I'm also a comic books-addict. My own collection is not that big (I guess about 1200 or so), but also read a lot of stuff from the library. I love watching movies : thrillers, detectives, war, adventure, horror every once in a while, humor (but I prefer British movies in that area), sometimes SF or romantic movies. On winter-evenings I sometimes do embroidery, knitting, sewing, etc. but the strange thing is that I throw all the things that I make away or I give them away to other people. It's just something I do when I want to keep my hands busy while I'm watching TV (BTW, I like British series like Frost, Inspector Morse, .. good movies, the news, ... but I can't stand soaps, most quizz-shows or programs like Big Brother because they are disgusting). I love listening to music : all kinds of stuff, but I prefer the LOUD genres! Although, I can enjoy light classical music too, or Irish folk e.g. But the band I love the most is RAMMSTEIN! (and I have a crush for their singer, can't help it) More recent hobby : internet! I'm an absolute idiot with computergames (very bad hand-eye-coordination ;D) I like cooking (that is, most of the time). I love pastas, Chinese recipes and the good old Flemish kitchen. There's not a lot food that I don't like. But becoming older I think a lot more about food, so I refuse to eat things like lamb (because they're so cute), frog's legs (because they pull the legs out while those poor creatures are still alive), and I hardly eat red meat. The last couple of years I eat healthier, but I don't have the character to become a vegetarian. I Do Not Like sports. But I do like walking. Long walks in a forest or through the fields. I even became member of a walking-club a few years ago. It's an easy way to make walks in other places than your own town. You can choose the distance you want, and you never get lost because you just have to follow the arrows. You can have a rest once in a while on checkpoints, where you can also eat or drink something. This year we will go to the Deathmarch in Bornem, the goal is to walk 100 km in 24 hours. That's it for the sports-department. In the summer I'm often the passenger on my hubbies' motorcycles, but I guess that doesn't count? Other points of interest (most of them very uncool) : Barbie, Titanic, miniatures and dollhouses, vampires, war (don't understand this wrong, I don't like war, but I'm interested in the motives, I live in Flanders where you can still find a lot of memories of the 2 World Wars and I guess I've visited most of them by now) ...

My hobbies are rallying on the motorbike my husband's the biker i'm the bitch on the back.i also like the playstation. My favourite games are the tomb raider series and final fantasy 7'8 and 10 didn't think much of 9.The bike rally we were just at was called the Farmyard and it's near Scarborough in England Mutter uk might have heard of it. It was really good what i remember of it [had quite a few bacardi's] ;D the band on Saturday night was an AC/DC tribute band and they were pretty cool even though they're leaning more towards the bluesy side of rock must admit i had serious Rammstein withdrawal by Sunday.
