There are 16 teams in the Australian football league.

The AFL
is an extention of the old
Victorian Football League
(VFL)

That is why there are 10 teams from Victoria.

8 games per round
22 round a year + finals

Blackburn will play Croydon in round 1, 2004

Teams in division 1 2004 are

Blackburn, Mitcham, Croydon, East Ringwood, Vermont,
Nobel Park, East Burwood, Donvale, Scoresby & the Newly promoted Lilydale.
Bayswater drops to division 2 After finishing last this year.

I am unable to post on the thread for some reason, so here we go.
efl round 1 Blackburn v croydon.
was a draw. BB 12.14.86 drew with croydon 13.8.86

This was a thrilling game to watch with blackburn leading by 8 points with five minutes to go, but croydon kicked 2 points & a goal even the scores when the final siren went. It is hard to know how to react with a draw as these are very rare in aussie rules football.

Richmond lost last nite to geelong. geelong 19.13.127 to richmond 11.12.78

Better make that 2 wins, beat my hawks by 1 F'N POINT, and my voice is gone, I can't speak from screaming so much, I was worried when Richmond kicked who knows how many un answered goals . Never heard a roar so loud on the center bounch when scores were level .

Crawf finally played a half decent game the bloody dud.

HAWKERS BEATED THE $HIT OUT OF ESSENDON

Well today I watched one of the biggest fights since the 70's happen, Vandanberg layed at least 7 punches into Mcvee then finished it with the knee ;D, Beaumont caught murphy with a headbutt which spilt him open, James Hird got leveled by good old Browny who ran 70m to punch him in the head, and the battle lasted for about 5 minutes, the result was Hawthorn beating the crap out of Essendon (don't try and argue any bomber supporter) and Essendon winning the game by 13 goals *hangs head*

lol Well my mighty hawks are sitting nicely at 16th (yep its the bottom) And Friday night we take on St Kilda who are sitting on the top of the ladder with only 2 losses for the season *cries of $hit*.
