No problems with spiders! In fact I'm the one who removes the spiders out of the house (I never kill them). But I'm terrified of snakes. A strange thing is that those big bastards like pyhtons don't scare me as much as little (often poisonous) ones.
I believe that I 'learned' this fear from my oldest sister who is also phobic with snakes (her youngest son also is). Through the years I learned to control this fear a bit. In the beginning even a drawing or picture of a snake freaked me out (once at the library a client returned a book with a snake on the cover and I started screaming. That person thought I was nuts). Now, I actually manage to watch a snake on television for a few seconds (without spilling my drink all over the place). I'm very fortunate to live in Belgium. The only reptile you can find here are vipers.

My phobia is spiders! When I was a little girl, I was in the basement and as I was going up the stairs there was a huge spider on one of the steps, I could have sworn that everytime I tried to move this spider was following me , right then left - I was freaked and have been ever since. Last night, I was in the "can" and when I turned my head, there IT was, a huge spider on my sink  ARGH! - TJ, you know how close that is to my toilet - way too close for my personal space

It will instantly run for your shadow,

scream the whole time it is chasing you.

found daily in IRAQ by our troops.
