OKAY, YOU ARE DEFINATELY "COOL" IN MY BOOKS!!! When ne1 uses the word " RESPECT " when it comes to the band Rush, I respect that person!

*I am currently reading the book by the drummer of Rush.... Ghost Rider by: Neil Peart -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On: Apr.11th, 2003, 8:19p.m. LordOfAgony replied... Neil kicks ass. Everyone tells me he's the best drummer alive (or close) and I tend to agree.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On: Apr.11th, 2003, 9:00p.m. TJ replied... Neil (IS) my most influential drummer cos' I haven't heard too many other drummers do what he can do! When Neil's behind that humongous kit of his....You litterly can not see him! My uncle.....Plays the drums. I was raised by his parents....So it was due to him that I grew up listening to 'RUSH' right from their 1st album. Of course 'Neil' joined on later but he is an absolute phenominal 'PERCUSSIONIST & LYRICIST' !!! Nuff_sed!
I have made it my mission to see them live b4 I die or b4 one of them do! They almost completely called it quits cos' Neil's wife and only child died within 10 mos. of eachother. He took a leave from the band, got on his BMW motorcycle and hauled around Canada & the States for over a year. Then started creating lyrics and they produced the album "One Little Victory"...And right after the release of their album last June...Neil released his 2nd book, "Ghost Rider"...Tootles for now...-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Apr.12th of 2003, 10:10a.m. LordOfAgony replied... Their's a dvd out now but they want something like $80 for it, jeesh, I absolutley admire his drummimg abilities BUT who can afford that !
*Poof-IDEA* :)Mothers Day is next month, have to hit up my family for that one ....... hehehe ........YEAH RIGHT ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THESE WERE CONVERSATIONS THAT LordOfAgony and Myself (TJ) had about this band...RUSH! I am sure you do not mean to be a jerk. You know you can always post in the Do Not Like Thread if you do not like the band. I personal think that you owe TJ an apology for slaming the band in this thread.

Everyone, bar none, everyone is a m0+#3rf*(k!ng hypocrite. Some of us do our best to avoid it, but a bit of it remains in all of us. Like me... when I argue, especially online, I try to take the moral high road, keep things factual etc... and though I fail all the time, I still talk down to others that do.
