heh you wont see Rush anywhere near here I think the last time they hit here was Hemispheres tour, they still the kings in canada, but they tour the states moreso i think the only place they play in canada is toronto And another lil question to anyone see alex lifeson when he was on the show the trailerpark boys heh a good but stupid canadian made tv show its on showtime if you can you should watch it it may take awhile to get used to it but its a pretty funny show Well, the last time they played here was in the late 70's & had a blowout with the Regina Agridome as ppl wouldn't sit in their seats. Ended up ruining good portion of the show & ppl were getting hurt. So, they had mentioned they'd never play here again & well guess what? They haven't ...I got the radio announcer Jason Bryant a few yrs ago to ask Geddy Lee in phone interview " Will they play Regina soon" ? Geddy basically said that it's not up to the band to make the showlist/places as they leave that up to their crew! Pleaseeeeee give me a break!
I missed that episode of Trailer Park Boys ! My gf in Swift Current was telling me all about it ! If their's ever a re-run of it call me Demented ! That show is actually funny but you're right you have to be willing to listen to the F word alot & weird sense of humor!
AND yes they play every fricken where else in CANADA except for SASKATCHEWAN. I have been told rush will never play winnipeg again everywhere but winnipeg a few year ago they played the arena hear and only sold like 3000 tickets it holds 10 the new one will hold 15.000 but they vowed after playing that gig never to play here again. That was from a friend of mine who is a rush fan....... I TRUELY FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE DEX!!! Seriously, that is JUST A RUMOUR!!! Every tour they play Calgary & Edmonton Alberta & last tour we couldn't go cos it was 2 days notice for us. We didn't have the fricken internet/puter then so aint easy to keep up-to-date on these bloody bands. For Peter's sakes Metallica, Godsmack, Elton John, Cher, INXS, JP, ETc etc play Sask what makes RUSH any better. They are my Fav band of alltime & always will be BUT come on!!! Before it's my time to leave this earth or the band does finally call it quits, I'm gonna see them live!!! Also, GrimsGirl was telling me that she saw an interview in which Neil Peart was saying he doesn't like ppl (strangers) coming up to him on the street thinking they know him ! After so many yrs in this business, you'd think he'd get over that. Blah blah blah, YES it is all about the lyrics/music BUT he needs to respect the ppl as we respect him. Plus, he made HIS PERSONAL LIFE all of our business with his 2 books ! Their, I feel much better now ...
Again, Dex check into that officially about the Peg not having RUSH play their cos' seriously Neil Peart growing up in Manitoba doesn't seem legible for me to believe your buddy's story!

INFO/HIDDEN EASTER EGG's ON DVD's Rush Chronicles On the release of 'Rush Chronicles – The DVD Collection' you can find two additional videos, if you know where to look.
Insert the disc and wait a few seconds until on the main menu, the 'Rush' logo appears in the upper left corner of the screen. Then, press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control, and then press 'Enter.' This will take you to a new menu screen from which you can select to play either the video 'Afterimage' or 'The Enemy Within.'
--------------------------------------------------
Rush In Rio On their release 'Rush In Rio,' the band has also included two great hidden features, but despite there actually being hints on the packaging and DVD, these Easter Eggs are not easy to find. Luckily we can help with that.
Insert the second disc of the DVD set and then play the 'The Boys In Brazil' documentary. When Alex Lifeson starts talking about the song 'By-Tor & The Snow Dog' (around 0:26:40) hit the 'Enter' button on your remote control. This will begin a short animated film made especially for the 'Vapor Trails' tour.
A second Easter Egg is located also on the second disc. Start 'O Baterista' and then go back to the DVD’s menu. Now, start 'YYZ' and go back to the menu again. Then start 'YYZ' once again, and go back to the menu. Finally, start 'O Baterista' once again and then go back to the menu. (In order, they are tracks 2-1-1-2, which is the title of one of their albums). The menu will now contain a new menu entry called 'Anthem 75.'
