I Was Disappointed That Rob Halford (Original Singer) Wasn't Singing! The New Singer Tim (Ripper) Owens Is Really Good But (He Came On Stage In Rappers Attire; Which Killed It 4 me)! BUT I Was In Absolute Amazement, That I Finally Got To C Glenn & KK Play Right In Front Of My Face!!! With Pyro's, Their Original Leather Duds & All.
It Was An F'n Rocking Show! Ne1 Else Seen JP Live Too? When? Where? Which The Old JP or The New JP Band? I'll Post Some More Pics In This Thread L8R...Check Back If You're Interested In JP!

CD RELEASE SPRING 2004 - FOLLOWED BY WORLD TOUR!
SEVERAL PROJECTS ARE IN THE PLANNING STAGES!After more than 12 years apart Judas Priest and original lead vocalist Rob Halford have re-united for a global live concert tour in 2004. The definitive Judas Priest lineup of Rob Halford, lead guitarist Glenn Tipton, lead guitarist K.K. Downing, bassist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis are back.
The original band members have been re-establishing their personal and professional relationships since 1999 along the way sparking hundreds of re-union rumors.
Several exciting projects, in addition to the 2004 world tour, are in the early planning stages.
The long-awaited re-union of Judas Priest and Halford will thrill fans around the globe, and once again provide them with the opportunity to see and hear the band that defined Heavy Metal as we know it today.
Judas Priest rose from the gritty, working-class steel town of Birmingham, England, and became one of the biggest bands in the world. Judas Priest are considered the groundbreaking inventors of true Heavy Metal music. From their debut release 'Rocka Rolla' through monumental albums such as 'Sad Wings of Destiny,' ''Sin After Sin,' 'Stained Class,' 'Hell Bent For Leather,' 'Unleashed in the East,' 'British Steel,' 'Screaming for Vengeance,' 'Defenders of the Faith' and 'Painkiller,' titanic songs like "Victim of Changes," "Sinner," "Exciter," "Hell Bent for Leather," "Living After Midnight," "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin' '' were born. Judas Priest defines and epitomizes both sonically and visually the Heavy Metal genre.
Next year's reunion tour will also celebrate the band's 30th anniversary.
Judas Priest and Tim (Ripper) Owens, whom replaced Halford, have parted amicably by mutual agreement. The band is very grateful for Ripper's work in helping them to continue to bring Judas Priest's music to their millions of fans and they expect big things for him in the future.
The God Is BACkkkk
Updates will be posted regularly at www.judaspriest.com/

« Reply #9 on: Sep 20th, 2003, 8:16pm By: TJ » Corkman, You once asked me if JP would play Australia....Well, I copied this over from the Official JP Site From The WebMistress herself which is affiliated with the band... ***************************************** Taken From The Official JP MB Topic: Ask The Band... Jayne Andrews Tuesday, September 09, 2003 11:39:13 AM First of all I can't answer any questions about Rob's solo stuff - you'll have to go to his website for that - sorry! Secondly, as far as getting exposure in certain Countries like Australia - let me just say this - we have not turned our backs on these Countries - the band are happy and more than willing to do press throughout the whole world - if for some reason the magazines show no interest then there is not a lot we can do - they were extremely interested when the band toured back in 2001 but we haven't really heard from them recently! I have to say also that half the problem is when we are not represented by a supportive label in a particular territory then it makes it quite difficult because often the magazines don't know where to go to request the interviews - hopefully all of that will be resolved once we finalise a deal for the reunion album!! Naturally, we want to get the word out to EVERYONE!!
