Which female in Rock put her name on the map of rock and metal......let me know your choice there are a few to choose from if you think about it.........

I will Start it off with the..........Runaways........

Lita Ford
Joan Jett
Cherry Currie
Sandy West.

They went threw alot of changes in their time I got there first sigle about 1976/77 called cherry bomb....
albums where very good we all know lita ford when onto do some gt stuff still love Out For Blood gt track...

And joan jett well sold out but met her and she is smaller then me and thats small.........
Let me know...........

I would love to think that noone would put Girls school my band long ago supported them for three nights and they drank more then we did..embarrasing.lol

Well their's lots of Rock Females...

Lee Aaron (Now she's very petite in size)!

I absolutely love alot of newer female artists but wasn't sure if I could put their names in this thread? Is this thread strictly Past Female Artists Dex? I think,

Tori Amos, Jewel, Enya, Amanda Marshall, Buffy Sainte Marie, Janis Joplin, Dido, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Toronto, Headpins, Celine Dion, Vixen (lmfao) now they sucked! (Note: Although some of these bands aren't all female muscians, they are the lead singers so they count), etc etc...

Pat Benatar, Lee Aaron have gone more Soul Singing and Joan Jett is still rocking! Saw Aaron and Jett within the last few yrs and they rocked arse ...Amanda Marshall can sure belt out her lungs live too!

Feel free who ever although alot of the rock/metal heads would not put half of the ones you have ..but thats cool as they are all good singers so ......fill yer boots as we say.....

Seen Pat Benatar live in Newcastle cool gig.......
met and saw Joan Jett being a Runaways fan from 78 was very cool she is so small..but really nice the kind you take home to meet your mother.........

anybody seen the crue video with the female drummer her name escapes me from tool.........
god she's excellent plays on the dvd when tommy left and drummer randy castillo was not well.......
but the video sucked a bit............ok alot but she was cool ..you go girl
