I will never forget the first time I heard Queensryche... there was a "Monsters of Rock" put on at the Tacoma Dome( Washington state btw..) The bill was Scorpions, Van Hagar, Metallica, hmm and Im forgetting whoelse but, people were actually passing out flyers because Queensryche was not invited to play. We ended up leaving early because some ass threw a bottle at Klaus Meine's head and that was it for their performance after he cussed them magnificiantly! And all in all Sammy could never reach Davids standards in my eyes. So we left and went to a park in Tacoma and heard Queensryche for the first time. Even though I didn't fall in love I would say they are truely one of metals most talented Sounds like it was a good line up. And yes Queensryche are one of metals best bands. Operation Mindcrime is easily one of the greatest albums ever made. If you dont have a copy, GET ONE! BTW As for Van Hager, Sammy has always been far more superior to David in my eyes and i much rather prefer the Sammy albums to the David ones.

Dio Rules Kick ass show last night. As always the London crowd were crazy and gave Dio a warm welcome He played alot of Sabbath and Rainbow songs as well as his own solo stuff. The guitarist Craig Goldy was great, i tihnk he is probably the best guitarist Dio has had (not including Vivian Campbell of course) And the new bass player Rudy Sarzo was great too. After the show i got to meet Ronnie, Craig and Rudy and they all signed my Dio poster booklet thing Setlist: Intro: Killing The Dragon 1. King Of Rock 'N Roll 2. Sign Of The Southern Cross/Stargazer (medley) 3. Stand Up And Shout 4. Drum Solo 5. Don't Talk To Strangers 6. The Eyes 7. The Mob Rules 8. Man On The Silver Mountain 9. Guitar Solo 10. Long Live Rock N' Roll 11. Rock N' Roll Children 12. Gates Of Babylon 13. Holy Diver/Heaven & Hell (medley) ENCORE 14. The Last In Line 15. Rainbow In The Dark 16. We Rock 17. Neon Knights
