I don't think I ever mentioned that the song is
"No Shelter" by Rage Against the Machine.
It was on the Godzilla soundtrack, but I paid an extra 10 bucks for the Aussie version of Battle of L.A.
(which has No Shelter as a bonus track) just to avoid spending any money on that useless atrocity of a movie.

but I thought plants voice could have been a lot better on the song remains the same.......
Yes it caught the band when they were the biggest band in the world and the film is gt...........
To me his voice while good kind of let it down a bit or am I being pickie.not that I could do better .lol

I had this big picture of him that I cut out a magazine. lol One day my mother trapped me when I kissed Johnny's picture tender on his lips  OMG, the whole family teased me for months. I was 10 or so and so embarassed!
In the same period there was a Dutch singer who had a song called 'o mama mama, ik ben verliefd op John Travolta' (o mama mama, I'm in love with John Travolta) and my older sister kept singing that song to tease me.
