Listened to all kinds of music, but always prefered rock, punk, new wave, later also a bit of heavy metal, grunge, other alternative rock. I even listen to classical music (no too heavy), sometimes blues and folk. Always liked a lot of bands, but I never was a huge fan of any band, I didn't have an idol. Untill I listened to Mutter for the first time. As if thunder struck. Then I bought the other R+ cd's. Herzeleid really did it, yes, this was it. That power, that rage, it really knocked me out. My R+ addiction started right there. And I don't want to be cured from this addiction. R+ added something to my life and I love those guys for that.

« Reply #10 on: Nov 9th, 2003, 2:24pm »I picked Pink Floyd! I know not everyone likes them, but I definately do! I listen too there music because the guitars, singing - mainly melody. I get relaxed listening to them and I don't smoke ganja, so I can relate to the music just as much as anyone who does. My favorite song is (Shine On You Crazy Diamond) because it's a song about the first singer at the start of Pink Floyd! His name is: Syd Barrett, the song is mainly good and yet sad! I have a whole bunch of songs that I listen to and enjoy, I sometimes feel in a somewhat spiritual way when I listen to them. I know that sounds weird, but that's what I feel about Pink Floyd when I listen to them! I think they are very inspiring musicians and very talented!!! Roger Waters absolutley ROCKS If anyone doesn't know why the songs about Syd Barrett - Let me know and I'll let you know . Listen to the song and then tell me what you think if you can!Thanx Rock On!!!

Crazy That This DVD Got Pulled From Shelves Cos' Waters Did The Tour With ALL Floyd Tunes (Which He Wrote) Without All Floyd Members! Grimsgirl, Did You Ever Get The Chance To Buy That DVD? ? ? If Not Tell Me Cos' X-Mas Is Around The Bloody Corner Already
The Woman That Sings Mother Is Incredible On That DVD!!! She Litterly, Raises The Hairs On My Arms & Gives Me Goose Pimples!!! She Also Sang On Tour With Greats Like Eric Clapton, Etc
The Story Of Syd Is Very Unfortunate & To This Day He's In His Own Little World & Doesn't Really Want Anything To Do With Floyd Members Still. As Waters Was In Floyd From Day One & Best Friends With Syd It's Very Heart Breaking! I Know Syd Being Replaced By David Gilmore Was Sad But ALOT Of Great Albums Came With Gilmore! ! Such As: Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals & The Wall. Of Course, The Movie (The Wall) Is Still One Of My Absolute Favs !
Remember, The Dark Side Of The Moon Album I Played For You When You Were Little (Grimsgirl) & The Lazyboy Chair ? The Memories Of That Album Back In The Day Still Gives Me Chills Now All Outerspaced Feeling Without Yes The Ganja ...Never Did Understand Some PPL We Knew Back In The Day - Flying High While Listening To Floyd, Zeppelin, Etc... Cos' We Took Up There Tuneage Without The Ganja !!!
Btw, Ya'll Get A Kick Out Of This...I Use To Tell The Brats That Use To Be Members Of The Dungeon About 6 Months Ago.... Pink Isn't Feeling Well, He's Back At The Hotel
Of Course They Didn't Get That
