Metal Music to me is bands that can actually play decent solos and have mad drumming! The real metal is hard to find, but metal is also my lifestyle and will be until I die! |

OK well of course the gods of it all JUDAS PRIEST!! Then in no particular order: Sabbath Maiden Ozzy Old Metallica! Dream theater And alot of the other stuff is mainly hard rock! But still there is so much shit out there that is not worthy of the title 'heavy metal' it should be called 'crud metal' |

 I really need to kepp out of this one :-Xwith out running the risk of upsetting to many peepz I know I can have my say and you lot will either or more likely disagree...but i will keep .sit on the fence .... there are so many who are classed as metal but like tj some are awesome rock.........too many gray are's because if a metal band or so called metal band does a balled do they then becaome a rock band.? ballads formally are ment for aor raidio.........to gain air play some bands do ballads but don't release them I know that argument...Tj good point.....while pries have done some awesome metal they have also done some rock songs but more metal then rock songs make's them a meta; band........so have others just using jp as an example no doubt the dolls will be out in force on this one...

So True Dex! Once A Band Puts Out That Ballad They're Looked Downed Upon In The Metal Category 
For Instance You Look At The Scorpions, Metallica, Etc When They Took That Slight Turn On The Later Albums....YIKES Were Fans Ever BlindSided On Their Metal Bands...Total Bullsh*t If You Ask Me...Why Do Fans Have To Get Their Sh*t In A Knot Cos Their So Called Fav/Loved/Band Goes A Differen't Route In Sound. If They Were Real Fans They'd Support Their Decisions & Stress Their Views To The Band But Continue To Support Them. Total Lack Of Respect For These Bands/Musicians Working Non-Stop To Entertain Us The People! Not Every Album Is Gonna Sound The Same Over The Duration Of Years Right? So, Good Point.

I got to agree with demented honestly bands can come and go bring out album after album be huge world wide sellers but will never match priest song for song........... and there is noone like ROB HALFORD.................. forget kareoke victim of timmy changes........it was a party peice you can't replace the best in the business..........end of story even his solo stuff with fight and halford kicks ass pee's all over anything priest done at the time even his songs with two and voyuer I am huge fan off after finaly finding it.....the guy has so much talent as a singer lyricist ........ I've just read the above posts! Thanks for the info! I don't understand the differences in all those kinds of metal-music.
I like Metallica, Iron Maiden but also bands like Korn, Slipknot and System of a down. And to be honest ; I really don't care which ones of them play the real stuff!
Hope I didn't offend anyone by writing this. I'm just a girl who likes a lot of bands and genres, also a lot which are considered very uncool!

! Now into 2004 you get ALL the same riffs so where'd it all go wrong! Hmmm hard to say but I like a band in all entirity with a Good DRUMBeat! I can't stand bands that focus too much on the lead guitar
