Herzeleid is the most intense one... it may not be Ramschtien at the height of their musical talent, but it is them at their most raw and emotional. I always seem to like the first CD from a band the best....

i also think herzeleid is the best, im surprised i havent heard more people saying they like sehnsucht, because i find alot of people rate that album tops...hmm

I've been to alot of other forums and R+ sites where I find this one is the only one that thinks "Mutter" is the best. Maybe the members that like "Mutter" the best is cos' that's the first album they heard and you know how it goes with firsts,LOL. Hmmmmm, Herzeleid is definately my fav. cos we picked up the CD in Germany and it wasn't even released in Canada yet. We got so many ppl hooked on R+ back then. Oh and that song by Chumbawamba was really big in Europe that time but not here, it was hillarious how far behind we are over here!!! Lmfao!

A lot of people don't like them right away. Unique sound... intentionally monotonous and heavy a lot of the time. So, have fun here, maybe we'll convert you some day .

Herzeleid is absolutely my favourite! I really like 'Weisses Fleish', 'Heirate mich', 'Wollt ihr ...' and 'Du riechst so gut' (but the other songs are great too).
I like the rawness of the songs, the humour in the lyrics, I even like the gerbera-flower on the cover (a pity that six, really big German guys are standing before it and disturbing the view )
