The premiere of the video was last Friday (German MTV). Unfortunately I can't get that on our cable tv  But I saw 50 pictures of the video on Rammsteinfan.de and they looked, well, uhhm a bit weird and morbid. Schneider is dressed like a woman with an awful whig. And Till is doing weird things with an angel  BTW Till ; you really should consider a diet are taking up jogging or something! You're not getting any younger, man! Do something about that tummy! |

Let Me Know What'cha Think? Having heard the new single from the upcoming album, I must say that I am rather impressed as the song immediately appealed to me.
In Mein Teil (pronounced like Mine Tile), Rammstein have somewhat returned to their more raw industrial-metal roots while still maintaining the depth and refinement of more recent songs from the Mutter album.
The song this most reminds me of is Mein Herz Brennt, but in a more pleasing Rammstein manner. I am confident that this will be a fairy popular release.
For the Almost Rammstein forum readers, a nice gift:
Load up the jukebox, on the first screen that introduces the jukebox before you click the ENTER button, click anywhere on the text (not on ENTER). Make sure caps lock is off and then press the m key on your keyboard once. Click enter and you will have access to the Mein Teil song to use in the jukebox!
If this does not work, you might be required to clear your internet cache on your computer to ensure that the latest file of the jukebox is loaded from the server.

ok... the song and vid are about Armin Meiwes, a german homosexual who went on trial in 2003 for the "cannibalistic killing of Bernd Juergen Brandes, a Berlin man who allegedly volunteered to be consumed after the two met in an internet chat room and exchanged e-mails about gruesome fantasies." the quote in the beginning of the song is a post Meiwes made in a cannibalism chat room. a few months later, Brandes replied: "I offer myself to you and will let you dine from my live body. Not butchery, dining!" yum. |

I bought the cd-single in Germany last week. The remixes are also great (esp. the Pet Shop Boys' one) I'm not sure what to think about the video. It made me feel a bit uneasy. But Schneider looks great as a drag ;D |
