I'm still in serious doubt whether I'm going to see 'The passion of the Christ' or not. I've read a few reviews, saw some trailers, and to be honest I believe maybe it's not a very good idea for me to see it. I'm not concerned about the religious part of the movie (because I'm not religious myself but I do have an interest in religion in general). But from things I've heard and seen so far, it's a lot about torturing, not very realistic (Jesus falls about 20 times carrying his cross etc.). Maybe I'm judging too fast. I'll think it over.

Went to see 'House of sand and fog' last week. It was not bad, esp. liked Ben Kingsley in it.
Last Fiday I saw 'Billy Elliot' on TV, what a great movie! I don't know if you guys know it. It's a British movie about a boy in an little mine-town. His mother has died and he lives together with his Dad, brother and Grandmother. He boxes, but hates it (and he sucks at it). One day he ends up in a ballet-rehearsal (so funny, that little boy with his boxing-boots between those girls in tutus). He likes it so much that he goes to the lessons in secret. When his Dad finds out he freaks out but Billy refuses to stop with his new passion. His teacher thinks he has potential and trains him for an audition at the Royal Balletschool in London. I won't tell how it ends. It's very moving and humorous. Great soundtrack too.

I saw Shrek II with the nephews and liked it.. but, their honeymoon went on forever.Spiderman II was better than the first if you ask me but, my brother disagrees so maybe guys will like the first betterI so wanna see The Chronicles of Riddick! And I also love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, they do well in keeping with the book as much as possible even though you know they will never get it all. Right now I'm waiting for I,Robot to come out it looks like it will be good.. plus, the yummy Will Smith is in it.. so for me thats a must see ;D

I was wanting to see the movie called "Secret Window" with Johny Dieppe in it, I saw it and boy did it suck big time, it's nothing like the commercials I saw.
The movie is about a novelist guy who's wife cheats on him and he basically loses it and goes beserk. His mind invents another personality who makes him kill off people.... Just plain weird.

Well "Secret Window" is from the mind of Stephen King so nothing is ever as it seems and yes, I think you have to have the Love for him before liking any of his books made to movies.
I watched the "Butterfly Effect" over the weekend and was very impressed until my nephew brought over the directors cut and I saw that there were 2 different versions of the movie... I did not like the directors cut but, I liked the other.. except the ending but, I will not give it away. So if your into movies that keep you on your toes and never gives into the obvious this is the movie to watch!

I don't think that they always give Stephen King's movies credit compared to his books - I love to read his books! Jaz is now on her way to rent "Butterfly Effect".... I love movies that keep me on my toes, nothing like getting the ol'heart going!

I just saw 'King Arthur' today. Its pretty awesome, I mean i never knew that Arthur (if he existed) could have been a Roman. Keira Knightley kicks arse in it though!! Shes this tough gal version of Guinevere and she goes to war n stuff. plus shes got wicked war paint. loved it, loved it, loved it!

Cannot wait to see King Artur! I'm waiting for my brother to see that one with glad to hear it's as good as it looks.
Went to see I, Robot with Will Smith (YUMMMMMMMM ) Umm.. anyway I really liked it! Not quite what I expected from all the trailors that we saw but, all in all was a pretty good flick!
Also, took the nieces to see A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff another cute kid show. My 5 year old niece laughed so hard we both almost peed our britches.
