INFO/HIDDEN EASTER EGGS ON DVD'S Planet Of The Apes
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has hidden some additional material on their Special Edition release of the Tim Burton movie, 'Planet Of The Apes.'
Insert the first disc of the 2-disc set and from the Main Menu, select the 'Special Features' menu entry, and there select 'Commentaries.' Once you get to that screen, highlight the 'Back' menu entry at the bottom of the screen and then press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the symbol of a monkey. Press 'Enter' now and you get to see a monkeyed-up version of the movie - or at least part of it.
Also in the 'Special Features' menu, select the 'Cast & Crew Biographies' entry, then select 'Cast' and in that screen select 'Estella Warren. In the first page of her biography, press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control to highlight the arrow next to her portrait. This will give you access to the actress’ first audition tape for the movie. You can also find audition tapes in the cast biographies for Erick Avari and Luke Eberl.
From the Main Menu, select 'Language Selection' and highlight the 'Resume Film' menu entry. Now press the 'Right' arrow key to highlight the symbol of an ape. This will give you access to the DVD credits.

Planet Of The Apes: 35th Anniversary Edition
On 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s 35th Anniversary Edition of 'Planet Of The Apes' the studio has hidden some very cool, vintage footage.
Insert the second disc of the DVD set and from the Main Menu select the 'Ape Phenomenon' menu entry. Now, highlight the menu entry that reads 'Main Menu' and press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a figure on the right hand side and if you press 'Enter' now, you will get to see a vintage commercial for Planet Of The Apes action figures!

Behind The Planet Of The Apes
Image Entertainment has hidden some additional material on their Special Edition release of the feature-length documentary 'Behind The Planet Of The Apes,' that is available separately from the 'Planet Of The Apes' box set.
Insert the first disc from this 2-disc set and from that disc’s main menu, go to the 'Bonus Materials' and then use the arrow keys on your remote control to highlight the 'Play' menu entry. Now, press the 'Right' arrow key and you will get to see a 30-second slide show containing several interesting behind-the-scenes pictures, promotional photos, and concept design drawings. |

Anyhow, I really enjoyed the series but wasn't too keen on the new movie of Planet of the Apes as it was when the blonde slave girl opened her mouth in the movie and spoke! The movie concept was killed for me! I didn't like alot of the new aged dialogue either. That kills alot of movies for me! Like Ya Know Dude, errrrrr...The Valley girl talk just kills it! YOU Make My Gutts Laugh Everytime I Read Your Posts! Keep The Posts Coming Cos I Really Enjoy Seeing/Reading PPL's Opinions On Threads I've Worked My Butt Off To Create! Thanks Again, Dex
