The last time I saw one...That was it cos' I litterly lost it and told them to get the F outta my house and never come back! We haven't heard any since then (which was a month ago). Note we have lived here for 12 yrs now! We put up with the presences until they started scaring the kids. We never told our kids about them and well when they started being scared of the walls.....THAT WAS IT!

When you look at the mirror, you think, 'hey, that special effects-guy did a really great job'. And then you realize you're not in a movie, and it's not make-up on your face....

I heard a strange noise in the studyroom coming out of the wall... I thought : 'Well well, we have mice' so I placed a trap, but nothing happened.. Still noises out of the wall. So one day we broke away the edge of the window to look inside the wall and we discovered 7 really angry bats showing their teeth! Our neighbour (also our landlord) was very curious and a bit worried about his window, so he came up, scared away the bats and repaired the window. Then he took a ladder, placed it outside to the wall and discovered a tiny hole in the brick wall. He filled it with concrete and was very pleased that he'd solved the bat-problem.. A few hours later it turned a bit dark outside. I was in the study, shouting at my computer, when I suddenly heard a ticking sound on the window. The bats were outside, circling around the window, but they couldn't get into the wall anymore. We felt very guilty and a bit ashamed. But then real horror started ; a few hours later we went to bed. I told my husband : 'Let's see what those poor bats are doing..' We went to the study and we saw atleast 40 bats circling around in the spooky, moonlit night. 'Oh, my god, they have warned their pals, and their cousins, and their uncles... They're coming after us!' We stood there for half an hour or so, watching those pissed off bats. The next morning we both thought it was just a dream, untill we went outisde and found about a million bat droppings on the driveway In our new house we also have a hirer bat (I think he lives somewhere under the roof), we see him every night when it turns dark. As long as he stays single, he's welcome!
