A six-time WWE Champion, the Texas Rattlesnake has highlighted three WrestleMania events, won the Royal Rumble match three times, and has had memorable matches against the greatest superstars in the game. Austin's era of greatness began at the 1996 King of the Ring. After winning the tournament, Austin coined the phrase, "Austin 3:16," which says that "I just whipped your ass!" He would go on to win his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania XIV in 1998 with some help from boxer Mike Tyson, and would then segue into the infamous "Austin vs. McMahon" feud, which propelled sports-entertainment into the stratosphere. After returning from a career-threatening neck injury in 2000, the Rattlesnake quickly climbed back to the top of the World Wrestling, culminating in his WWE Championship win over The Rock at WrestleMania X-Seven, in front of 67,925 of his fellow Texans at the Reliant Astrodome! He's a trash-talking, beer-swilling, finger-gesturing, ass-kicking son of a bitch, and millions of WWE fans wouldn't have it any other way!

On October 5, 1997, the world met Kane, as the seven-foot monster tore off the door to "Hell in the Cell" in order to get to his brother, the Undertaker. The siblings later fought in the first-ever Inferno Match! Less than one year after he arrived, Kane became the WWE Champion by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring. Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster proved he could live up to all expectations. Since then, Kane has been a Tag Team Champion on numerous occasions. Once a man of no emotion, Kane has somewhat broken out of his shell. However, the Big Red Monster still remains a monster in the ring.

Height: 6' 11"
Weight: 325 pounds
Finishing Move: Jackknife Powerbomb
Career Highlights: WWE Champion; Intercontinental Champion; WWE World Tag Team Champion; WCW Champion; WCW Tag Team Champion
KEVIN NASH is 6' 11" and 325 pounds, and when he sets his mind to something, he usually accomplishes it. As WWE Superstar Diesel, Nash set his sights on the WWE Championship. Not only did he win it, in November 1994, but he held it for a full year -- the longest title reign in the past decade.
Nash left WWE in 1996 for WCW. He joined the nWo with Scott Hall, and teamed with Hall to form the Outsiders. They wanted WCW's Tag Team Titles, and they got them. Later, he wanted the WCW Championship. Not only did he win it, but he did so at Starrcade -- WCW's flagship Pay-Per-View -- and defeated Goldberg, ending the former NFL player's much-glorified undefeated streak.
Nash suffered a serious injury when he tore his quadriceps during a main event match on RAW. But Big Sexy promises that it's going to take a lot more than that to keep him out of the ring for very long.

Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 255 pounds
Nicknames: Big Poppa Pump, The Big Bad Booty Daddy, the Genetic Freak, Freakzilla
When SCOTT STEINER was signed by WWE, a fierce war broke out between RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff and SmackDown! GM Stephanie McMahon. Both wanted to bring Big Poppa Pump to their brands, and for good reason. Just look at him. The Big Bad Booty Daddy has one of the most impressive physiques in the world. At 6' 2", 255 pounds, Steiner is a suplex master and excellent mat technician. His skills and his brute strength suggest that Steiner will put some great accomplishments underneath his belt before his time in WWE is done!

Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 225
Hometown: San Antonio, Texas
Finishing Move: Sweet Chin Music
Career Highlights: WWE Champion; WWE World Heavyweight Champion; Intercontinental Champion; European Champion; WWE World Tag Team Champion; 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumble winner
He's one of the most charismatic showmen ever to grace a WWE ring. He was WWE's most resilient champion. Pound-for-pound, he may be the company's toughest.
If a back injury hadn't hampered SHAWN MICHAELS in-ring career, there's no telling what the "Heartbreak Kid" would have accomplished. As it was, he accomplished more than anyone at the time. He was the first Grand Slam Champion -- the only competitor to hold every title WWE had to offer then. At 225 pounds, he somehow managed to win the WWE Championship on three occasions, defeating men close to twice his size along the way. One of the keys to his success was that Michaels would put his body on the line. He participated in the first (and, many say, most exciting) Hell in a Cell match, against the Undertaker. There were Ladder Matches. But even in "regular matches" (if there was ever such a thing with Shawn), HBK was intent on being "the Showstoppa, the main-eventer, the icon." It took its toll on his long-term health. Still in his early 30s, when most superstars are hitting their prime, Michaels had to bow out of the spotlight after losing the title to Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV in March 1998. Soon he had surgery to take away the pain, but officially end his in-ring career, or so it was thought.
But Michaels doesn't necessarily have to lace up the wrestling boots to be an instrumental part of WWE programming. One of the most natural "talkers" in history, he has the ability to rile up fans and fellow superstars simply by grabbing a microphone. Remember, Michaels was one of the founding members of D-Generation X, perhaps the most notorious faction in sports-entertainment history. They had as many memorable moments outside the ring as they did inside the ring. And Michaels remained one of the most popular superstars when he returned on a regular basis in November 1998, even though it was in a non-wrestling capacity as commissioner off WWE. But for a variety of reasons, Michaels resigned as commissioner in 2000, and has been rarely seen by WWE audiences since.
Perhaps the best indication of the impact that HBK made on the business was the reaction he received on June 3, 2002, live on RAW, when he was introduced as the newest members of another controversial faction, the nWo. Fans at the American Airlines Arena cheered because they were happy to see him, or jeered because they were shocked he was joining the nWo. But they were all on their feet, as they seemingly always are when HBK's "Sexy Boy" theme song hits. Luckily for HBK fans everywhere, the nWo folded soon after. Michaels then moved on to a successful singles run, highlighted by a victory a Survivor Series where he captured the World Heavyweight Championship.

Finishing Move: Dudley Dog
Career Highlights: WWE World Tag Team Champion (with Tazz); ECW Tag Team Champion
SPIKE DUDLEY may be the runt of the Dudley litter, but he's the perfect example of the old cliche, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog!"
While in ECW, nearly half of the roster tossed Spike around like a rag doll, threw him through tables and split him open with thunderous chair shots to the head. But he still got up and continued to fight.
Although various WWE Superstars still underestimate Spike for his size, they learn pretty quickly about the size of Spike's heart, how far it's gotten him already, and that the best out of Spike is still yet to come!

THE HURRICANE has had quite an impact on World Wrestling Entertainment. He patterns his entrance and his techniques after his favorite comic book superheroes, most notably the Green Lantern. The result is a a fierce storm of power that overwhelms his opponents. When foes enter the superhero's feared Eye of the Hurricane, running for cover won't help.
