Are You A Pro or Just Love Swimming?

I'm afraid I can't swim I almost drowned as a kid, fell out a rubber boat in a lake. After that I got so scared of water.
I took up swimming lessons at 7, but it didn't help. It's a pity, because I love the sea, or spending time at a lake.
And one of my wishes is to own a little boat sometimes, but I guess it's better that I take up swimming lessons then.

I Can Swim BUT I Am Deathly Afraid Of Water I Basically Get Panic Attacks, etc BUT Some Ppl Around Me Tend To FORCE Me To Overcome MY Fears Once In Awhile. I Go Boating , NP, And Have Gone On The Water Tube Twice & Have Swam To Docks To Psyche Myself But That's That ...Try Taking Some Swimming Lessons or Wear A Life Jacket Cos' That'll Help ...Btw, My Hubby Cannot Swim or The Driver of The Boat But They Aren't Afraid of the Water Kinda Weird But I Guess We're ALL Differen't & Deal With Our Fears Different'ly ...
