I just got done reading all these posts! I have bought the new cd and I really like it! If you get a chance go to Launch.com and watch the Runnin Blind video...you can watch them perform "acoustically"!
I have been a Godsmack fan when I first heard about them...I remember hearing them on the radio...and I really dug the sound they had! Finally I said...this is what I want to hear!! But I was still in my shell at the time...I was banned by my wife to listening to "my music" in the garage!!
When Ozzfest came to Dallas in 1999/2000 I remember hearing Godsmack being promoted on the radio. I wanted to go so badly! Sadly to say it wasn't until I was single again, and finally doing the things I wanted to do, before I saw Godsmack for the first time two years ago. So when I finally got to see them...it was well worth waiting for! I joined the Voodootribe and got on their forum and joined the Godsmack forum too.
It was at the Voodootribe.com forum that I had the pleasure of meeting my good friend Grimsgirl! Hey girl...I just realized that Godsmack bought us together!! Coolness!!
Also through the forum I have met a really great family of fans too! Some I have had the pleasure of going to see Godsmack with and party too! If I had a little bit more money in the bank, (don't we all!!), I would definitely travel to other shows and hook up with all the Voodootribe family. I think it would be cool to see them overseas too...like in Europe! I also wonder how many Native American Godsmack fans there are too! Dang...I was just a ramblin there wasn't I?!! [/glow] |

That would be a blast ;D I think you are soooo lucky because you get to go to Ozzfest! We don't get as big of bands you see here where I live it sucks! I hope I will someday get to go to Ozzfest and have as much fun there as you did. [/glow] |

Only one thing though...you guys probably couldn't take the Texas heat in August. That's the only thing I don't like about Ozzfest in August...it's so damn hot  ! We're talking 95 degrees and humid! But it's nice to strip down to the bare minimum and party...YEAH!!  |

I MET THE BAND WHEN THEY PLAYED HERE IN CALGARY OMMMMFG SULLLLY KISSED ME TO AHAHAHAAHAHAH AND I AM TALLER THAN HIM  THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME GOODNESSSS I TOOK PICTURES BUT THE GUARDS TOOK MY CAMERA TILL AFTER SHOW SO THEYRE NOT ALL THAT GREAT  I MUST SAY ON MY WAY OUT THAT SULLY IS MIGHTY FRIGGEN FINE PIECE OF ASSSS DONT BE MAD TJ FOR ME SAYING THAT EITHER BECAUSE ITS THE TRUTH AND I KNOW IT FIRST HAND |
