Ok firstly if you have never heard of Iron Maiden then you obviously do not hold alot of knowledge for heavy metal, and secondly Iron Maiden are a million times better than Rammstein, comparing Rammstein to Maiden is just something that you dont do, because Maiden are one of the greatest Metal bands ever (along with Judas Priest).

The first three shows in Scandinavia announced just before Christmas saw all 50,000 tickets sell out in the first week of going on sale - including the 31,000 capacity Stockholm Stadium? so the band know the Metal hordes are ready!
Says Bruce Dickinson, ?This tour is all about having fun as the name suggests. We love summer and we love playing big shows. We are going to be playing a lot of our favourite Maiden songs and many people know we've got a new album in the pipeline for later this year so perhaps we'll be playing a new song or two, but basically it will be full on Maiden! Trouble is when you have so many great songs it?s hard to please everyone all of the time. The band is firing on all cylinders and the show will be as spectacular as always.?
?We?re headlining a lot of the biggest festivals across Europe this summer so it?s shaping up to be another huge year for the band. We?ve got big plans for the next twelve months and this is just the beginning.?

Not the singer who has two tones as opposed to halfords range.
I will admit they have a awesome drummer the guys class....
Not any of the guitarists they could have six but they would never match the playing style ability of glenn and kk.
While steve harris is very good but in every song this up and down the fret board like theres no tomorrow was gt at first now it's nothing new at all..........as he has done it for years and years.....
and Eddie while it's good for covers and stuff and the kids love it.which brings me to all maiden fans kids......

Dex im not even going to bother to argue the fact that Maiden are better than Priest (most of the time). However Priest has done quiet a few stuff that Maiden hasn't done which i like.
But lets look at it this way:
Iron Maiden's first album had ALOT more success than Rocka Rolla.
Number of the beast (which was Maiden's third album) got Maiden to the top in world wide metal bands. And as for Priest, it took them up until British steel to get what Maiden earned from the Number of the beast.
then onwards both bands came out with some really great album suchas (Maiden) Piece of mind, Powerslave and Live after death (which i think is better than all of Priest's live albums. (Priest) Point of entry, Screaming for vengeance, Defenders of the faith.
But then, at around the same time when both bands started to use synthisyzers, Maiden's "Somewhere in time" just complety blew the shit out of Priest's "Turbo"
And as for Ram it down vs Seventh son of a seventh son....... well, not much competition there.....(LOL)
But when Bruce left maiden, and Rob left Priest and both bands got new singers, to me Maiden did a better job with Blaze than Priest did with Ripper. The point of that is that Maiden never changed their style of metal, obviously it was different because they had a new singer, but at least they didnt change as much as Priest did which i still find ws a very risky decision, and from that you can see how Jugulator and Demolition did not get as good reviews as Rob's albums with priest.
But now that both Rob and Bruce are back with their bands, things will change alot, as it already has with the release of Brave new world, and the soon release of Dance of death, which i'd like to see Priest beat with their new album with Rob.
Ok there, i have proved why Maiden are better than Priest.

Numbers of albums a band sell do not say a band is good
It only do say they are a pop band that is it dose not say they are good if u say that u yes back street boy s is good because there first album did sell 100 time s more than Judas priest or iron maiden so there for back street boy s is the 100 time s superior??
U see what I say black Sabbath is one of the good band s but "only" have sold 25 mil copies of there albums and wee have Judas priest that have sold 20 mil in USA 20 mil in Europe and 10 in Japan + i10mil n some other countries dose that make Judas priest a better metal band ? No it only do say one thing Judas priest did have much better promo and that is that.
And any whey iron maiden metal lol lol nay I say Maiden is not metal they are rock pop or at best popular metal the type of metal u boogie to and u know it and if u have some thing to say about that pleas do. I have not found one heavy song from iron maiden but I have found some heavy metal song s from black Sabbath and judas priest and R have a good day
